The East Granby LIONS Club was chartered April 28, 1960 and has served the community of East Granby, Hartford County, CT and the world community for over 47-years. Officially, legally, we are incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization known as The East Granby LIONS Charities, Inc. (which means that any direct donation is tax deductible if you itemize your return), but we generally go by East Granby LIONS Club. If you care to make a tax-deductible donation to a worthy cause, knowing that one hundred percent goes to charitable purposes, you may make checks payable to East Granby LIONS Charities, Inc. and mail to our post office box (288) address. If you want it to go toward a specific purpose (such as Scouts or Scholarships) listed in this page, please so note on the memo line of your check.
LIONS Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) have initiated a long term fund drive to help stamp out preventable blindness world-wide. Local LIONS Clubs around the world will be sponsoring directed fund raising projects, asking individual members to make donations, and asking the members of the community to make donations for this ambitious project. If you wish to help support this worthy cause, checks should be made payable to LCIF - CSFII (the amounts are deductible on your tax returns if you itemize) and mailed to East Granby LIONS Charities, Inc. at P.O. Box 288 in East Granby, or turned over to any member of East Granby LIONS at any time within the next two years.Where:
